Holding On to God during Uncertain Times

By S.W.I.M. Leadership

Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

Dear sister in Christ,

Life can be a rollercoaster, can't it? In one moment, everything seemed smooth, and then, we faced challenges we had never seen before. As women in ministry, we're often looked to for guidance and strength. But what happens when we feel uncertain?

God wants to remind you today that it's okay to feel unsure, to have moments when you're unsure what's next, and to lean on Him during these times. Also, it’s essential to have a community that encourages you during uncertain times.

No matter what uncertainty you’re facing, you don't have to go through this alone. God places people in our lives to support us. Reach out to your sisters in Christ. Share your burdens and pray for one another. Galatians 6:2 encourages us to "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ."

No matter how wild the storm is, you can cling to this hope. God is unchanging and unwavering, and His promises are always true. Hebrews 13:8, says “ God is the same yesterday, today and forever.”

Think back to times when God has come through for you in the past. Remember those moments when He showed up in ways you didn't expect. His faithfulness doesn't run out, and His mercies are new each day! (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being our constant in times of uncertainty. Help us to remember Your promises, trust in Your plan, stay connected to You in prayer, lean on our community, and reflect on Your faithfulness. Give us the strength and courage to face each day, knowing that You are with us. In Jesus’ name, Amen

We hope you feel encouraged and hugged today.

With love and blessings.
