The Empty Tomb and Your Calling
By S.W.I.M. Leadership
Easter is so much more than a holiday. It’s the ultimate game-changer.
Think about that moment, the women at the tomb, their hearts heavy with grief, expecting to find Jesus still wrapped in death. But instead? An angel. Good news. “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” (Matthew 28:6)
Can you even imagine the flood of emotions? Shock. Confusion. Hope. And then the realization.
Jesus did exactly what He promised.
Death didn’t win. Fear didn’t win. The enemy didn’t win.
And you know what? That same resurrection power is still at work today in you.
Maybe you’ve been feeling stuck lately, with doubts and uncertainty about your purpose, wondering if you really have what it takes to do what God has called you to do. But Easter reminds us that when Jesus walked out of that tomb, He proved that nothing, not fear, failure, or even death, can stop God’s plans.
Whatever God has placed on your heart, step into it with confidence.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just need to trust that the One who conquered the grave is the same One who will strengthen and equip you for everything He’s called you to.
Easter isn’t just about looking back at what Jesus did. It’s about walking forward in the power of His resurrection.
So, shake off the doubt, rise up, and walk boldly in your purpose. Because sister? The tomb is empty. And that changes everything.
Let’s pray:
Jesus, thank You for Your victory over sin and death. When I feel small, unworthy, or uncertain, remind me that Your power is at work in me. Help me to walk boldly in the calling You’ve placed on my life, trusting that You are leading the way.
Amen.
